About RN Insurance Navigators — Lancaster County's RN-Founded Insurance Practice

RN Insurance Navigators was built to fill a gap no one else was filling in Lancaster County. Founder Wendy Tribioli is a Registered Nurse who understands both sides of the equation — health care and health insurance — and built this practice around using that understanding to help the people of Lancaster County and central Pennsylvania. The office is at 45 W. Brandt Blvd. in Salunga, PA — local, in person, and near you.

Vision

Bridging the gap between health care and health insurance.

These are not just taglines. They describe a real problem Wendy witnessed firsthand over two decades in healthcare — people making costly insurance decisions without the clinical and financial context to understand what they were choosing. She built RN Insurance Navigators to change that, starting here in Lancaster County.

Wendy's Background

Wendy Tribioli is the founder of RN Insurance Navigators — Registered Nurse, licensed insurance broker, and the only RN-founded independent insurance practice in Lancaster County.

Her healthcare career started at the bedside. She worked in ER and trauma settings, where decisions happen fast and the margin for error is small. From there, her career moved into Medicare, insurance regulations, and medical billing for a nonprofit health organization where she spent years seeing, from the inside, how insurance coverage gets interpreted, applied, coded, and denied.

That experience gave her something most insurance agents do not have: not just knowing what a plan covers on paper, but knowing how it behaves when a real claim lands on a real desk.

In 2021, Wendy opened her first office in Lititz, PA, to test whether this idea — a nurse-founded insurance practice that goes deeper than enrollment — could serve the community she had spent her career in. It could. As the practice grew, it became clear that what Lancaster County needed was not just another broker. It needed someone who could handle the harder problems too: billing disputes, denial appeals, long-term care planning, and the questions that do not fit neatly into a sales appointment.

That is when RN Insurance Navigators became what it is today — a full-serviceinsurance guidance and advocacy practice, based at 45 W. Brandt Blvd. in Salunga, PA, serving Lancaster County communities including Lancaster city, Manheim, Lititz, Ephrata, Elizabethtown, Mount Joy, and Columbia, as well as clients in York, Hershey, and across York and Dauphin Counties in central Pennsylvania.

The Approach — What to Expect When Working With RN Insurance Navigators

Most insurance appointments start with a product. Wendy's start with a conversation.

Before recommending anything — a Medicare plan, a Pennie option, a coverage strategy — Wendy conducts a full assessment. Current health situation. Medications. Preferred doctors and hospitals. Financial picture. Concerns.

It is the same approach she used as a nurse: understand the full picture before making a recommendation. Then explain the options clearly, honestly, and without pressure.

What Every Client Engagement Includes

A health and financial needs assessment

Not a questionnaire — a real conversation about what matters and what the coverage needs to do.

Plain-language explanation of options

Wendy explains what each option actually covers, what it costs in practice — not just on paper — and what the tradeoffs are. No jargon. No product-of-the-month push.

Independent recommendations

RN Insurance Navigators is not employed by any insurance carrier and does not work toward any company's quota. Recommendations are based on what fits the client's situation — not what pays more.

Ongoing support after enrollment

The client relationship does not end when the paperwork is signed. Wendy is available for billing questions, claims help, and coverage concerns throughout the year — and conducts an annual review every fall to confirm coverage still fits.

Consulting and advocacy when needed

For insurance denials, billing disputes, long-term care planning, and Social Security disability representation — fee-based consulting services are available that go beyond what a standard broker provides.

Rooted in Lancaster County

RN Insurance Navigators was built on relationships, not advertising. The majority of clients come through referrals — from financial advisors, attorneys, and neighbors who trusted Wendy enough to pass her name along.
